The Apostle Peter confessed Jesus as, “the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” The Apostle Paul confessed, “Christ is of God.” The Nicene Creed confesses Jesus Christ as “God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God.” However, he is not only the content of our faith—He is its cornerstone. From the earliest councils to every local congregation, the Church stands or falls on this foundation. In a world of shifting opinions and fragile institutions, we rejoice in a truth that does not move: Christ is our foundation, and nothing will prevail against it.
