Good Friday 7:00pm
On Good Friday, we remember our Lord’s crucifixion with both sorrow and solemn joy. Jesus’ death was breathtaking in its purpose—once and for all, he paid the debt of sin for every person, for all time. As our substitute, he was forsaken by the Father so that we could be reconciled to God and have a home in heaven. That is why we call this Friday good.

Easter at Good Shepherd
Through Christ’s resurrection, we are victors. Jesus’ victory over sin and death defines our lives as His redeemed people. We celebrate the triumph of the resurrection, where death is swallowed up in victory. That victory gives us courage in the face of fear and lifts our eyes to worship the Lamb in His majesty. As we journey through life, we follow our Shepherd, who leads us to living waters and wipes away every tear. His victory transforms the way we love one another and shapes how we live both today, tomorrow, and in eternity. Finally, we rejoice in the triumph of our returning King, whose reign is certain and whose victory is everlasting. In Christ, we do not fight for victory—we are victors along with him.
